Taste and “kuier”

Special menus, events, art exhibitions and music are planned for the second Proe Mosselbaai from Friday 28 February 2014 to Sunday, 2 March 2014. A world of tastes to explore during one week-end, with venues scattered all over the district. Quite impossible to see and to do everything – but that is why Mossel Bay’s “kuier” festival will always have something new and exciting to offer!

A brand-new Gourmet Route (Friday and Saturday 10h00-17h00) inside the Old Power Station will give visitors the opportunity to sample and buy a variety of wine and olive products from the Eden district. The entrance fee will include a tasting glass, and plans are afoot to introduce public transport to this venue next to Santos Beach.

On Friday a tent on the lawn in front of the Old Power Station will provide ample seating for the RSG “Oggend” broadcast 09h00-11h00. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the spectacular views, interviews and music. Friday and Saturday visitors to the Gourmet Route will be able to use this area for picnic-style eating of coffee and snacks sold outside the Old Power Station.

Well-known food personalities, special activities for kids, quite a few Sunday lunch options, a number of exciting newcomers …

Proe Mosselbaai really does cater for every possible taste.
